Great atmosphere,lovely tasty food and really friendly staff. Thank you for a lovely birthday meal for my son.

The service was first rate and the place was packed - then we had the food. Absolutley delicious. Had the meatballs in tomatoe sauce, garlic, and chilli prawns, and husband had the butter checken burger. Everything was fresh and tasty. Even though the place was packed, the food came out in a timely manner and staff were very engaging. A couple of happy Aussie travellers left with full bellies.

We had the pleasure of dining at Duende recently, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. Our server, Chloe, was exceptional. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and ensured that everything went smoothly. Despite her young age, Chloe handled everything with such grace and professionalism, which made our evening even more enjoyable.The food was simply outstanding – every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. We highly recommend Duende to anyone looking for a great dining experience, and we will definitely be back!

I was not disappointed on my first visit here. Although there were some cons, the experience on a whole was incredible. It was very busy during my visit, which may have contributed to some cons.Pros:Staff are on the high-end. It's been a while since I've been to a restaurant where the staff is this friendly and welcoming.Atmosphere is top quality. It's stylish, colourful, and lively. Seems like a far cry from the rest of Southgate.The food is, simply put, phenomenal. It is well-presented, well-cooked, and so flavourful. The creme brulee stood out the most to me as the one of the very best desserts I've ever had eating out.They're open until late! This is quite rare to see of a restaurant in the area and a very welcome characteristic. Some nights even have live music, although I did not have the pleasure of experiencing that.Cons:All this quality does come at a steep price. Be prepared to really spend in this place.And the biggest con: it took exactly an hour from the time we sat down to the time we got our mains served. It even took roughly 30 minutes to serve the starter, which was simply bread, salad, and a bowl of hummus.Conclusion:This is a restaurant worthy of a stylish and incredible night out. I highly recommend it. The staff, food, and atmosphere more than made up for the slow service during that busy night. I will return for many more times.

We (a family group 12 adults and chikdren) )attended a confirmation celebration lunch in the restaurant today.It was fantastic. From the start the welcome by the owners was warm and very genuine.There is lots of space between the tables and the acoustics are perfect for table talk.The service was perfect and were not rushed.And now for the food. Great wide range of offerings on the menu.It was served hot and tasty.Each of our various meals look amazing in the style ir was served.Do not hesitate to book.Leonard of the McGowan party
